May I ask you what's your profit target per trade?
Because, thats my problem at the moment... Iam always hunting for the big move and it sucks to get out at BE when I was up by 50+ points

Iam using a 10 point brick size at the moment, 5 points is (at least for me) way to fast, especially when it moves quick...

10 p. bricks.
Currently up by 45 p. and let it run... betting on a higher breakout north.

Still bullish signal!
Hovering it at around 65 points in profit... 25 p. locked in. Target 13350.

A partial answer here HERE. I usually don't have a fixed target for 2nd position, but certain levels or patterns. I usually close the 1st position after +6 +10 with BE for 2nd. You can to check my older posts for more examples.

I read somewhere that the best place to exit is also the best place to enter

If I can add to the question of the target on your last chart: your hid. div is correct, but without having seen the charts up to this point, I personally would have already been outside on the 1st divergence, even though it then turned out that the market went even higher. After that I would definitely go out on 13 300, there is a pattern of 3 Indians and then there is also forming a pattern H&S in the play. It is very important to always take profits! If the market goes up, you can enter again, if it goes down, you can trade those patterns. Just my 2 cents

I wish everyone a nice weekend.
Don't think!

Chers @LiboCop for your answer and top notch analysis!!

The reason why I just kept holding the position was the reason that it was a friday ;-)
Usually the Dax tends to go in one directon 90% of the day on fridays... But it's not hammered in stone

And thanks for the hindsight of the "three indians"! Never heard of that one before, and saved it to the chart pattern arsenal

For whatever reason, I was set up bearish in my mind this morning, because of some bearish div. on the 10p. Chart... So I didn't take any long signal on the 5p. Chart because I wasn't trusting them... My BAD!
