Hello my friends!!

I am starting this thread to show one of the ways I use the DIDI Index.

I find this tool the DIDI Index very very helpfully, now never forget that being a trader is a state of mind witch you will have to earn
and there is no "Holy Grail".... but DIDI will make it easier.

A couple of other things is my time is very limited but I promise that I will spend all my free time here and try to answer all the questions and help all
that I can.

Also all ideas are welcome but please do not divert from the threads main idea and post your systems or argue cause you will be blocked.

I will start one step at a time and very simple cause the less the better when it comes to trading.

Please also be a little patient cause I am not a great teacher.....

Here is the DIDI indi that we will use it is a MTF cause we will need it that way.

So lets have some fun.

I am connecting 2 charts showing some signals:

The first chart is the 1H / 4H Gold chart witch I love trading. I have all the signals down so the idea will be clear as to what is a signal for me.

What is a signal: First we look at the higher time frame, here the 4H, a signal here is NOT a cross of the GREEN and RED lines, it when the GREEN
and RED are on the OPPOSITE side of the BLUE LINE, THE 1.00.

Then I go to the shorter time frame witch in this occasion is the 1H, and I take only the signals that correspond with the higher time frame, here the
4H, again only the ones that are crossing the blue.

Of course if you took the first signal you do not take the second, I just market all the signal in the right direction.

Now the second chart is the chart of a 15min / 1H of the GBPUSD with the same idea.

For areas where I might have placed my stops I have the x.

Also if I am in profit and one of the lines green or red cross the blue on the other side I will close the position and wait for another signal.

Let's do not forget that when both lines green and red are on the same side of the blue line there is no signal, they have to be on the opposite.

Let's do not forget that I use this as a tool and we will go deeper in this together.

Just did
Tried changing the TF perimeters (for example, M15....and indi stays on whatever current time frame is on the chart)....

On the GOLD chart we will see that there is another signal forming, long, but for me it is overextended and I would wait for a pull back to enter,

or go down to the to the 15 min to enter with less risk.

Witch if I would have traded the 15m time frame I would have been already taken partial and waiting for the exit witch would be the move of one of the lines red or green on the opposite of the blue.

And I would wait to load again.

Now that is a nice move.

Just double click on "Current time frame" and change it to the time frame desired

Here we have some valid signals all profitable here but I am going to break down the way I would trade the last one....

A cross of the green below the blue would give a a nice short, my stop would be the red line above,
I would break down the trade like this:

1st TP : Once the distance is the same as my stop would take half off and move SL to BE

2nd TP: 2 times my SL I would take another half.....and let the other ride till the second white square where
the line crosses the blue again and take profit or I would be stopped out at BE.

P.S. I missed also another short 9 bars prior to the last signal, also profitable

I am not able to make the 2 timeframes work in single chart..
For me 2 indicators point to the current time frame
Can you post the pictures of the parameters used for each of the indicator.

Template for 4H/1H combo and 1H/15M combo would be of great help

When I am on 1 H chart system allowed me adding 4H indicator
Similarly when I am on 15M chart, able to add 1H indicator.

Entry looks promising. what about exit? what would be TP or SL

Interesting. So in my words: you are taking the trade if the smaller timeframe points to opposite direction as the higher?
This seems logic to me since the higher tf is the "boss". Your are avoiding news I guess?
