I hope with SOnray and other debacles ASIC changes the rules or introduces a National Gurantee type fund!

So in a nutshell. ASIC regulation does not really give any great protection to clients. Same as brokers from less reputable / regulated countries

So you are saying that 1) sufficient capital reserve (emergency funds) 2) external trust 3) Company P.I insurance....... isn't enough to secure your funds?

Do you want someone to open a private vault for you with only a code that you know in a place only you know with a supernatural gate keeper?

How far must any company bend in order to be truly regulated? Should they just say "here you go have some money"?

Your judgement seems very flawed. What regulator do you prefer? How much more secure than ASIC are they? I bet you they aren't.

Since birds of a feather flock together, Dukascopy must also be a scam, otherwise they will not be doing business with FXO knowing that they are a scam.

And this whole bank thing about Dukascopy and the institutional ECN feed etc etc must be all part of one great plan to scam all of us and become multi-multi-billionaires overnight ! And then cover their tracks by saying that it's FXO who scammed and not Dukascopy. So in essence FXO is just a front Company for Dukascopy. Wow these guys are brilliant scam artists.

Well obviously these tarts really know jack all about brokerages and forex in general. There's more money in being a decent broker and keeping customers indefinitely than there is in scamming what few customers come to you.

You should probably talk to dukas if you have any doubts. Speculating is only good in the markets.

In the case FXOpen was an IB , your money would have the security of being with a regulated bank in Swiss, NOT SO, STAY AWAY from bucketscam FXOpen

There would be no horror stories if FXOpen was just an IB because now FXScam controls when you get filled at what price, what stops they want to run,etc...
wtf is this? i set a stop loss and within minutes of me setting it, it hit my stop loss even though it was no where close to my stop loss. i opened up my previous broker, gomarkets, and did not see the sudden spike. see pic
i have a live account with them. anything i can do?

They likely use every typical dirty market ,maker MT4 bucket shop trick in the boook.

Call them and send them what you have posted and you might have a shot.

These "spikes" are common with MT4 bucket shops, I have experienced them numerous times with different brokers, even on demos.

I would look for a new broker

there is no Gold contracts at fxopen ecn so you are using fxopen market maker and it seems that something like 1 minute charts? dude, don't you think 4 dollars for Gold is nothing? did you contact their dealers with a complaint?
I am quite confident with their ECN account, feed is equal to Dukas and you can alsways compare and the same for order's book.
I don't think anyone will stop hunt your order just write a dealer and post an answer here.

As I said talk to dukascopy. You don't appear to have a grasp on what actually is happening behind the scenes.

Response I got was that there was a feed error. Contact [email protected] and he will organise reimbursement. You need to state your account number and order number to him.

FXOpen has 3 types of account. Micro, Standard and ECN.

Why people do not understand that there is a difference between them is beyond me.

The above stated in bold letters is true for micro and standard accounts which is why I personally would never use them.

Ecn accounts have a different price feed and that statement is not true for them.
