DislikedIt is a gift. It's old school. I have a friend who trades APPL stock options with just his cell phone. He's just a regular blue collar guy. He only watches the quotes and he makes serious money. He trades only on Friday when the weekly options are the cheapest and most volatile. I sat next to him twice with my charts trading AAPL. He only stared at his cell phone. I asked him how he does it. For starters he said well I'm familiar with APPL cause I've been staring at it since forever but it's the same concept for any instrument. You can gauge volume...Ignored
That's interesting. It's sad I guess, maybe it's not something I can teach or pass on to another generation, half of what I see I can't even put it down on paper or properly describe. But my dad use to diagnose engines by sound alone so I am hoping it's something in our family genes that makes us very observant. I guess the most I can do is put it to good use. And to think I got trading by accident.
But that's good about your friend with Apple stocks, I guess some people are just different, I wouldn't know what to do with an Apple stock buy looking at movement alone. But good to hear a story like that.
Being a trader is lonely, but being a great trader is lonelier still
