This was my best trade of the day:

There is a lesson here. Some days aren't too exciting. As of 10:52 EST, this has certainly been the case. Bernake is speaking somewhere in a few hours, and the mind-readers are going to try to profit.

LOL! Good one. I kept waiting and waiting for the chart to appear. I think it took me a full seven seconds before I finally "got it". Duh!

Ignored

The point it this....I have a couple of types of trades I look for, and when they don't show.....it is at that point it becomes gambling.

I imagine this is how it must feel to be a junkie. I know it's wrong. I know it's bad. The past three weeks have hammered these facts home to me, but the urge remains to get IN! It's an effort of will to stay out when I see nothing telling me to be in.

Must.....not.........open.......

Hands too shaky. Eyes too weak. I'd need a magnifying glass the size of a table top. I do get your meaning though, Bemac. Thanks.

I also love to trade and often I have suffered from the same affliction. Lately, I've been able to satisfy my habit by reducing the lot size when I get that 'lovin feelin' without much to back it up. Sometimes I get lucky and that's ok as long as I realize it as such.

Last year around Xmas time I got beat up pretty good because I couldn't keep my mouse out of my hand. Thin markets move in 'mysterious' ways. I've heard rumors about how 'players' with deep pockets can move the price more easily when participation levels are low. There's safety in numbers if you're swimming near the sharks!

Good thread Clockwork
Thanks for the reminders
