DislikedEnjoy, if you really think this is the holy grail!!! Instead of bars, this one has dots, but it is quite similar to OD's chart. This one is from tsd thread. Just be careful with this kind of trading, especially with stops. Ask yourself what if price DOES NOT return where it is supposed to, oooops!!! Regards, Blackeagle {file}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Actually, I'd love to post it as I have picked up so much useful input from people on FF. But the most valuable pearls of wisdom I've had have been from eurusdd and so I feel a little torn given his instructions at the beginning of the thread. And of course mine won't give exactly the same arrows on the H4 as he showed at the beginning. Let's see how things pan out over the next few days.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Sorry but this doesn't look like anything EURUSDD posted.. :nerd:Ignored
Disliked{quote} Ah, you have a good point! Ok ppl, play around with a Donchian channel (using the close rather than the high/low) where you have an up bar that breaks the lower channel and a down bar that breaks the upper channel. I can't pretend to know the optimum settings, I'm still experimenting. Good luck!Ignored
Disliked{quote} Did I say it looks like what EURUSDD posted? Read my post again, " BUT IT IS QUITE SIMILAR TO OD's CHART" Compare it with the charts at POST 239Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi there! Please remember that I am not privy to EURUSDD's secrets!! I only know what I was able to work out for myself. So I don't know if what we are doing is the same. All I can do is test my ideas and see if they work. Thus far, I am quite encouraged In answer to your questions: (1) I am not using MTF data. My code is taking data only from the current TF. (2) If I had access to "future bars" I would not still be here. I would be on my yacht in the Bahamas. But.... seriously, I know what you are asking. No, I don't "peek"...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi OD, Could you please post a graph of H4 EURUSD for sometime in mid of March? Thank you -0Ignored
Disliked{quote} Here's mine. Will be interesting to compare. Note the the swing high reversal wasn't touched until 8th May. Although I would not call that a quality reversal candle so discretion might be required (i.e plot on next candle). {image}Ignored

DislikedI have now tried various length settings for the Donchian (close) and also included multiple settings on the same chart to simulate different timescales. Somehow they all seem to work whether or not there are multiple timeframe signals but I am guessing the optimum setting gives the ones that will complete (i.e. the price will return to it) before the signal bar leaves the screen. This shows the current setting I am working on (Donchian close length = 4, mark the high when it is an up bar and breaks the lower donchian level, mark the low when it...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I think targets on lower time frames must be more urgent as they will go off the screen more quickly. That is as long as you have identified the right points! Also I think that some of the targets will be seen on multiple timeframes...something I believe Eursdd alluded too when he was talking about the different coloured arrows.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hello all, Here you go... As a matter of fact, my thinking behind my indicator was very much along the lines PorkPie outlined in Post 227. I too am a Supply/Demand devotee. Looking at the code posted from the TSD thread, there are obvious similarities! Perhaps they were onto this wheeze before EURUSDD Anyway, I don't suppose there is much new under the sun. Old ideas get recycled and I am still grateful to EURUSDD for bringing it to my attention. Best regards, Old Dog . {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} I am sure you are right. So I suppose we can conclude that we can take the highest timeframe for a signal to deduce when it will have to be revisited e.g. if a signal appears on a H4, H1 and M30, we have until the H4 bar disappears before it must be revisited.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Let me tell you something about nature. To understand everything, understand the very small things. The things you most likely cannot see. The one who will rule the world tomorrow or the universe is the one who conquers the world of the small. most Random processes, abstract or real, are directly related to physical processes and therefore, if you really want to understand the very basic laws, you need to go to the basic units of the process. In other words, if you create a system that does not work on all time frames, even 0.0001min time-frames, then there is a problem. What I present here will work on even 0.00000000000001min time frame. Therefore, even if you aggregate these into a major timeframe, there laws will still hold. I present 1min TF.Ignored

Disliked{quote} ....but then again Eursdd said that all targets must get taken out before the bar goes of the screen. Surely the corresponding bar on the lower timeframe must get taken out for that to be true across all timeframes???!!! {quote}Ignored
