MT4 build 625 does not run on Win 7

I had MT4 build 509 that worked fine on my windows 7 PC... It was upgraded MT4 to build 625 and MT4 does not run at all after that. Can somebody help please. When I click on MT4 icon... it shows that something running, but MT4 window does not appear at all... I have tried to reinstall the program, but the result is the same...
Please advise .

Build 625 runs on my computer with win 7, all I can suggest is make sure that you are loading the MT4 outside of the programs folder and directly into C drive for example because if it is loaded into programs the win 7 security could possibly stop it loading.

Yeah, I have the same problems on both a Mac and a Win7 PC, with Build 625. Even my Molanis EA Builder does not work. Have been told to just wait for a patched update in "x" time!

Something to do with the directory tree restructuring?

Thanks for reply, but the problem is the same even in C drive.. MT4 window does not appear at all.
Could somebody advise here? I have tryed replaice terminal.exe from beta build 628.. the same problem..

try to press Ctrl+Alt+Del to start Windows Task Manager. In Applications Tab, you should see MetaTrader task running. Right-click on it then choose Maximize. I got the same problem with MetaEditor just like you. Hope this help.

Have you tried to install and completly new indy without any of your custom indicators, then you add them afterwards in the new MQL4 folder?

I have face this with Win 7 Ultimate. Installing the program outside program files wouldn't help. I have tried it with compatibility mode and run it as administrator. Nothing happen except a few second MT4 loading and then it just gone. No nothing at the task manager. So I know it didn't works on Win 7 Ultimate. Mine is Win 7 Enterprise which have no issues with MT4. I'm not a computer genius so don't know what is the different between that. Anyone care to tried it on Win 8 or Win 8.1?Can you share with us?

I also noticed this. A lot of you traders reported that they can't start terminal.exe anymore from one day to another. Starting it makes it pop up for a second and then closes it again. I keep reading this over and over here. Re-installing it or installing it over won't help. The solution is in the config directory. Under some circumstances terminal.exe writes a null byte file called "version.ini" or something. This file has a lenght of 0 bytes. So if you run into this behavior again, then please DELETE this file. Terminal.exe will start normally again.

I recall Lotus Notes used to have this behavior. The IT guys came out deleting this kind of files and it all went back as normal. Thanks buddy, will tried afterward. I keep you all updated.
