I thought this would be an interesting poll
I keep a close watch on this chart of mine...
I am still learning, gimme some time!

Well, yeah, it's about making money too.. But not yet for me.. But I know it will come... eventually..
I do other things and earn well

Trading is just easy money for me. I mean easy is because I do not have to physically work, I press on sell/buy buttons place stop/take profit orders and then I do my other job which is financial analysis of corporate clients
I work at the bank

BTW I worked as a trader at the bank www.bank.ge see the site but end up with 0.7% loss, I quit trading when I found out I was not trading mentally free and with fear.

What r u do in a bank physically? You repair the AC??

777 i didnt realize you worked at a bank! do you see any FX order flow? does your bank even particiapate in FX trading? man that order flow is like gold, if you can access it you can really put it to good use...

Merlin, isnt there a service you can subscribe to that gives you access to order flow? I thought ive seen it somewhere as part of a chart and data feed package.

Back on topic, right now Im in training mode but hopefully I can make a decent additional income.
1337 Trader The market knocked me down, but not out!
I think that some of the results of this poll are because

a) people coming to this forum and voting are likely to be new. ie pros usually stick to themselves and dont talk on forums much

b) it takes a lot of work to be a real profession individual trader

I keep a close watch on this chart of mine...
Learned lots during initial training...

...enough to think i could trade live....

...had 50% draw down on a micro-mini (good thing it was only 10 cents a pip!!!)

...joined FF and the PF and learning lots

...back in demo for a while to settle on a model that fits my personality and style.


I do cheat a bit in that i only have to work at a great 5hr a day job during the Asian session and i study and trade most of the waking hours from 5am to 3pm Pacific Time. I have no presure to "perform" in FX so i can take my time learning.
