Disliked{quote} M1 is my entry point, I do the top down analysis. However, the point still remains. You can have the best Grade A trade on the higher timeframe and wait for the confirmation on the lower timeframe and one second it(the confirmation) may be there and the next it will be gone completely. Thats the problem. I dont know if I express the issue clearly.Ignored
as you read the first 1700 posts, this is mainly Alien expressing and explaining the systems and setups. It is said many times this is a better higher Tf system. It can be used on M1 but it needs so much patience. There are only a few people in these initial post that grasped the M1 TF, but they seemed to have some success.
I have tried and expended lots of screen time to establish my best TF, I think I sit between Marco and JP ie M/W/D and M15/M5
I am just sorting my screens down to the bare minimum as I have have experimented with only the Alien mentioned indicators but i have used them in a number of ways to firstly understand, then validate the setups and methods utilsed (hats off to Alien for the main systems) and also the other contributors who have evolved some of thh concepts into some very neat setups.
I have tried to scalp with this system and for me have decided, its not for me. I cannot get the timing good enough on the M1 TF and I think this is some of the questions that you mention. Try coming up a bit, don't look at the M1 and hide the lower TF's, See how the M15 looks for signals and only drop to M5 to time the netry if its not clear. As always MTF is key, step down through the TF's looking at the RSIOMA/ADX relationships to get the trend and momentum, when you arrive at the H1/M15 it should be clear if you are sitting on your hands or ready for an entry and if ready then a quick drop to M5 should get a good entry.
i did a posting recenmtly of these initial pages and the RSIOMA section is very informative, did it help?
Kind regards
