DislikedHey guys, i have a doubt about the enter on a DS trade, do i need to wait for the Delay sto to cross the 50 level before i enter or the 21,10,10 sto and full adx expansion is enough? Currently i'm entering only after the Delay sto crosses this level, but i'm feeling that i'm entering too late sometimes and letting alot of pips behind. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Thiago, a safe entry for DS trades is when the Delay sto. crosses the RSIOMA.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Thiago, a safe entry for DS trades is when the Delay sto. crosses the RSIOMA.Ignored
Disliked{quote} By most examples, by the time the DDS crosses the RSIOMA, the move is over. Alien provided many examples with multiple entries before the DDS stoch has even crossed itself, much less reached the RSIOMA.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Remember the rules, RSIOMA above 80% or below 20%, these examples are not, only trade after the delayed stochastic has crossed back long , this example did not do either.............. Thank You for pointing this out to others for a reminder of not what to trade.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I agree. It's an intuitive system and the fast sto can be used to help with timing, also adx expansion on a lower timeframe etc.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Thiago, a safe entry for DS trades is when the Delay sto. crosses the RSIOMA. Sorry friends, this is not well explained. I need a chart to show which is the lines cross. BBLIgnored
Disliked{quote} The cross I mean is when the DS crosses its signal line. Look at your 1 M. chart.Ignored
DislikedAnd i'm gonna pay attention now to Jpad advise to wait for the Delay sto to cross the Rsioma.Ignored
Disliked{quote} The example you posted is a DS setup with an M1 chart. You are not going to get a lot of movement on that trade. If you wait for the DS to meet the RSIOMA I can't imagine that you'll profit from that trade with any satisfaction. Watch the next higher timeframes to make sure of direction. In a choppy market, DS trades fail a lot. I actually take these as reverse signals. (I trade lower timeframes, M5, M15, intraday). Right now, a DS trade is forming on M5 UJ. ADX is compressed, and BB are squeezed. I plan on taking this long on DDS cross...Ignored
Disliked{quote} It was a misunderstanding, he was referring to the Delay sto crossing it's signal line. I got 8 pips from that DS trade on M1 entering after the DS crossed the 50 line and it was a reenter from an ugly DS trade on m5 that i got earlier, so it went fine .Ignored
Disliked{quote} Okay, good, disregard my post. As I noted, once the DDS meets the RSIOMA the move is over. As I was posting, you mentioned the UJ M5, with a DS setting up. I'm also watching this, but will probably wait until Tokyo open. But everything looks good for a nice long.Ignored
