Best Overall Charting Package

Hello.

I am not new to Forex but want to extend beyond what my capabilities are today.

Looking for some input on what others feel are the best charting packages available today. Here are things that are important to me:

 

1. Ability to create scripts that mirror trading system signals
2. Good user base that can help with programming when necessary
3. Ability to do backtesting of trading systems
4. Good value for the money

Another quick question ... is the data feed separate from the software in most charting packages?

FWIW ... today I am using basic charts inside FXSolutions GTS along with some other free charts.

Profitable ... but want to be more so.

free and can do everything u need and data feed included and also has option to change data servers should one go down...

Tools - Options - ServerTab - Then enter address of the server u want....

Try Wealth-Lab Developer (www.wealth-lab.com) and get data from dataHQ (www.forex.datahq.com.au). This is the combination that I use.
