Hi all,
I've been running the MT4 thru a private VPS with an EA on it. As this is no new problem, the EA needs to be running 24/7.
I had the problem of logging of from the server and the server automatically shut down MT4 making the EA go crazy. I solved this by going into the Task Scheduler and setting up the MT4 to run 24/7 no matter if anyone is logged in or not, however this is when I got the problem.
Doing this on my server (Windows 2008 server) made the MT4 run 24/7 but the program became invisible... Meaning I cant adjust the settings in the EA.
Only way to "get into" the MT4 again was by re-launching it, and therefore causing the same problem as I mentioned earlier (the EA restarts as well..).
I would really appreciate it if someone knows how I can avoid this. Meaning if I can run the MT4 24/7, logged in or not, but visible when I need to access the EA settings.
