DislikedI C now....I think there wasn't enough money but somehow even that got ignored because I had many trades on. Bottom line: the problem was in brokers liquidity which made my stop loss on EUR and XAU much greater (700pips) than I've set (100pips) which made balance indeed too low. Something tells me this would happen with other brokers as well.. EDIT: Keep playing the game of hunting pips with 0.02 lots while rethinking regarding the broker.Ignored

DislikedNo trades last week, took some time off. Here's what I decided to do. Trade with hotforex which I bitched about but let me not take it personally. Their spreads on micro account sux but they offer 10% margin stop level which is very important if I want to risk as much as possible with micro account of 50%. DislikedMen if I was in your shoes, I would do what I ask from my students, you wanna make 800 pips a month, better learn how to make this on a 50 bucks micro (.01 lots) ...... its not about the money, its about establishing a balance between money management bagging pips......focus on the pips and if you manage to make the 800 in November, scale up according to your account size.... EG the max lot size for a $2000 account should be 0.05..... and for a $1000 account 0.03. If you have a solid system, then applying this discipline is gonna help you big time....Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thank you for the idea. Yes I'll wait until november ends and if it's 800 pips or more I'll start again with $200 or $300. Danny would you say 800 pips/month is hard to achieve for most traders or quite easy? As for lot size I'm sure I'll risk 25% because I believe I can make it with 4 shots. Changed my mind regarding martingale, back to original strategy and that's it!Ignored
