What Tradequal did is to take the standard terms of stock options trading (vanilla) where you don't buy or sell the asset like in cantor but use call and put option which you can buy or write and I think that this way makes it much more understandable for the traders who trades binary options today against the broker. I didn't found nothing about an API in the website but maybe they give it.. and if not I guess that they will give it in the future cause it makes a lot of sense. From what I saw and understood tradequal is quite new platform and therefore...

But as a seller I want a lower payout figure.

As a trader you want your trade to be with higher payout as you can get but you dont make your trades just because you can get this payout or another, you want to make a trade cause you think that you can predict the asset movement and then of course you want the payout to be normal (no less than 90% to my opinion) cause you understand that you can't be right with every trade you make and if you get low payouts like you get today you have to be a superstar in order to beat those odds.
Now regarding the seller payout you've mentioned:
1. if you an arbitrage player and you want to sell both sides with buyer payout that is less than 100% and to get risk free profit (which you can try to do at tradequal at least until it will be fully liquid) then maybe your strategy is to sell one side with low payout and then to sell the other side with higher payout and in this case your interest is to sell with low payout as you can, but as an arbitrager you have to be patience and wait for the right moment in order to sell with low payouts and if you will then probably you can offer those low payouts.
2. If you a standard trader who tries to predict the market (no matter what tools you use) then instead of buying a call option (cause you think that asset x will go up) for 70% with one of the houses, you can go and offer a put option in tradequal for even 95% for the buyer and to get payout of more than 105% to yourself, so you give the buyer a payout that is almost 40% higher than the one he can gets with his broker and you get a payout that is 50% higher than you can get from your broker. Both of you are in much better shape than it was with your brokers...
Tradequal allows you to act like the broker but the important thing is that it allows everyone to act like the broker and to write options. in that way as long as traders will use it instead of giving money to the houses, the payout will be the highest ever in the BO market. this platform purpose is not to give the houses another place where they can sell options with low payouts and beat the clients with the power of statistics. its purpose it to be a place where the community and the open market improve the potential profits for all of its members ( like betfair ,lending club ect.)

You do not want to trade binary options. That is if you value your money. If not then give them to a charity.

Lol i came here to say EXACTLY same thing! Binary Option trading got to be the LAST thing we pick. If we don't want to do Forex trading then we should just look for other work. Binary is the worst of ways for it!

I don’t understand it either. Binary options are incredibly risky, either because of their very nature, more resembling gambling than trading, or because the brokers offering binary options trading tend to be very dishonest to put it mildly.
Even the FBI recently issued some serious warnings against the binary options industry. According to an FBI report, they have received received hundreds of complaints with millions of dollars in reported losses during 2016 alone. It’s very hard to find a binary options broker one can trust. But in the end, to each their own.

I use HighLow and they are very secure. They are backed by the Australian National Bank.
They are regulated by ASIC which is a very strict organisation.
I wouldn't change for anything, also they are not ringing you up every 5 minutes trying to get you to invest more $$$$
I give HighLow 10 out of 10.
Cheers !

I think there is no good regulated Fx Binary Option broker and most of them are found to be scams. I don’t feel secure and comfortable at any Binary due to its volatile nature.

I would recommend optiontrade firm but HF closed them after BO got negative coverage in press. Its really better to turn focus on CFD trading using MT4 which has a better range of instruments to manage your trading.

I've yet to find a good BO broker. honestly, I've tried because it looked much easier than trading Forex. however after two "regulated companies" and $600 less, I've really lost most of my hope for binary options.

Binary Options isn't as bad as what people are saying, it's just frustrating as there is only two outcomes. One you loose your money, two you make good profit and they ask you to leave, then you have to move on to another broker.

I started trading BO about 5 years ago, made 49K in my first year by trading a weekend gap strategy. First broker 'Opteck' were a bit slow to work out my strategy and I managed to turn $500 into $22000, largest problem was withdrawing but in the end I got all of my money out and moved onto a different broker. Next broker was 'Option Time' which are no longer around or have changed their name to something else. Made $10k before I was asked to leave. This went on for years, I believe I have currently gone through over 16 different brokers, not just BO but forex and CFD brokers as well.

I now trade a mixture of shares, indicies, commodities and forex but only really have 2-4 high prob trades I take a week, which means I am prepared to take a higher risk/rewards due to the high probability of the events. Can make good money doing this but just like BO the brokers will eventually ask you to leave. As of this week I am now looking for antoher broker after being with a broker call tradedirect365 for over a year. They just sent an email saying they don't need to disclose why they have cancelled my account but just the fact they have done so. I managed to withdraw all of my profit which was good but again frustrating and I am back to the same spot I was with BO.

You see in the end all brokers are just bucket shops, forex or BO. You are always just trading against your broker. BO more so as there is no other way it can work. It's not like the traditional options market were you have an option writter and an options seller. BO just has you and the broker, when you win they loose and when you loose they win, simple. FX brokers have a different set up where they can hide behind their A book and B book BS. Eventually though if you are winning good money they will ask you to leave, I am yet to see any broker that will let you make $100000 and let you keep trading. If any knows of a broker that lets you actually make a living from them then let me know, happy to test them out.

Good luck people as we have a large task to beat the brokers but working together we may be able to grind out a living.

Instead finding binary options broker, you should find a real casino to gamble, it's a shortcut

I haven't tried any exchanges yet but keen to. I've heard the slippage and spreads can be worse than OTC brokers which could make my trading style a bit harder. How have u been finding them?

You might be right to some extent though these binary options trading had introduced a new way to trade options but unfortunately many of the binary options brokers are market maker and tends to trade against you so it might be a good advise finding a casino to try your luck instead of going to any BO broker now.
