I searched around but could not find an indicator that does this. If someone could help I would be very grateful.
It just needs a few params.

  1. Alert on trendline hit.
  2. 1 alert per candle
  3. can draw as many trendlines as I want
  4. every hit (1 per candle) sends push notification to mobile.


From what I found out its just a simple parameter needed "SendNotification()" but I am not a coder so any help would be appreciated.

SendNotification() is just the final function ... after all your trend lines were checked and confirmed that there was a hit by the current price on at least one.

Or even if someone could modify an indicator thats already out there which alerts on trendline hit to send push notifications it would be nice.

Hi moneydeep,

I'm not a coder either, but from what I've read so far, it looks like adding the code for a push notification is not a big deal for someone who is
familiar with coding. However, getting someone to just do this is not an easy task :-)

Maybe we all should just mind our own business too (let the newbies sort it out for themselves).

If your indicator already has an email alert function, just replace 'SendEmail' with 'SendNotification' (and maybe remove one or more 'parameters' from the 'SendEmail' line if compiling mentions errors regarding too many parameters or something like that). I'll attach an original and a changed version of an indicator that I've altered the code for in this way (it works :-) Have a look, if you want - it's all I can do, since I'm not a coder either, only trying to help out other coding newbies to whom the Metaquotes 'SendNotification' documentation is of no help.

Hi there @Ronald123 and other coders

Since this thread is quite old I hope I can get some help about that indicator which I found very useful.
The problem is when I switch to another time frame lines simply reset them selfs to default levels.
I don't have any programming knowledge so I hope someone will find this trendLine alerts useful and fix this issue.
