- Charts use only trendlines, S/R and an occasional pattern.
- Also use untested S/R and pullback candle entries.
- Charts used to confirm reasoning for trades.
- I am a novice Forex trader - do not follow any of my setups. Charting is for future analysis and improving skills.

eurnzd, exited 3/4 of the position down at 1.5877. If the blue trendline is broken and held, time to exit with a small overall profit. At that point, would be looking for long entry...

usdjpy - ready to see if the rally will begin again. The first three arrows show rally's taking place the first week of each month. Well defined trend - no reason to be thinking short on JPY instruments. Watching the 100 handle...

gbpusd - riding the trend down - looking for a test down to the 1.48 area
Took 3/4 of the position at 1.5080 and will let the rest ride down to the 1.48 area - should we have a trendline break of the yellow line, then will exit prior to 1.48 area

TSD, thank you for the kind words. A good start to the Journal Thread. Yes, I have all the planning portion complete, now it is time to execute it in the charts - that is the tough part. I try to keep it simple, but in future posts I will expand a bit on the theory of the trade. Best of trading to you. San Diego or South Dakota?

audusd - interior trendline broken - need to see some support structure developed before considering a long entry - PA below the break through point would continue to be bearish

gbpchf - took 2nd position at resistance level - looking for down trend to resume - a close above the resistance level and will exit both positions with overall profit.

gbpchf - on the drop down to the trendline, took profit on first position and on second took off 3/4 to see if it can break this support wall in blue.

gbpusd - trendline has been breached, however will it hold. S/R has not been broken yet, so still holding remaining portion of the trade to see if trendline holds. If the Resistance is broken then definitely will exit and a potential long trade would be evaluated.

gbpusd - pair has broken the 1.5160 area - looking to exit remaining portion of the short position on a re-test of support and enter a long position. The yellow circle is a "W" pattern and the center part of this pattern usually provides excellent support.
