hey guys

just need a little bit edit on this indicator.

need to connect some lines together from high to low to make a triangle.

can someone help me ?

what I need is exactly shown in picture

from POC to high on line, and mirror it with exact size to low.

I have tested the MP indicator on the live Market feed and everything appears to be updating correctly, I have added in 3 inputs concerning the trendlines so that the trendlines can be turned on/off and 2 variations can be used.
ShowTrendlines = true; true/false displays or removes the trendlines
ShowHiLoTrendlines = true; true= trendlines set from High to low - false=trendlines sets low trendline ( mirrored ) using the High trendline data
TrendlineColor = Silver; trendline color

That's because it's an old indicator, and either needs to be re-coded to comply with build 600+, or compiled using MetaEditor/compiler build 509 (which I have done, and attached the resulting EX4).

I have updated the code to work on the latest MT4 build 1090, I did set it up with #property strict but although the indicator compiled with no errors it had an array out of range issue so I removed the strict code because that was the easiest solution. I am on holiday and do not have the time to sort out the array issue. Everything appears to be alright although I have not tested it on a Live Market.

NOTE : I have noticed on a Live Market feed that the current gray panel color updates to a lighter color on each new tick so it obviously has a bug of some sort in it, I don't have the time to chase that issue down ( I am away on holiday for the next 4 weeks ) so perhaps someone else could take a look at it. I will leave the indicator on this post in the hope another coder can download it and fix the problem while I am away.
If you download this indicator please be aware that it does have a problem as described above.

has anyone done a strategy test using 1 to 1 ..sl at bottom or top of the mp range and target at 1 to 1? seems like a no brainer good basic strategy at first blush. curious to see the result.
in this pic one step down the text is coming .. is it not come to the parallel to the line
where can i change to get the line and text at the same line...

hi cga. this is really superb indicator. some time marketprofile virginPOC giving me trouble but now this i found a very good one. but small help.. the text is coming one step below the line.. is it possible to come same line everything is ok only this is because 2 lines comes near means first line text and second line is matching ....so that..asking

That is simply the default line position for MT4 line labels, it is possible to code the label shift however as the alignment alters for each timeframe and zoom size it is a reasonably complicated bit of code to get accurate in all the different chart setups and I do not have that sort of spare time to code and test it at this point in time. Perhaps someone else can have a look at it??
Lines 618 to 628 are the label code - line 620 is the line that needs the shift code added to it.

It seems I fixed the rectangle issue ... but with property strict code... still getting array out of range issue.

hello cja.... still not able to fix this array out of range on this line of code whenever I enabled #property strict

I re-encode again from the original build 509 to 1090 MT4 and applied your trend lines after that and it fixed the value area box turning white.

great works you are all people doing... where do you all learned coding... i am trying and trying but not to much go one step up... still i am seeking help over others for small works too... where as still i am not able to go with paid service too..
