MetaTrader: S&P 500 End of Day. How to?

Does anyone know how to get End of Day price data for the S & P 500 to show up as a chart in MetaTrader?

I did find the NorthFinance Demo worked (sort of), but the right-most screenful of chart looked screwy!

Thanks Liquid. That sort of works. The problem is, when I switch to a daily chart, all the bars are squeezed into the far left side of the screen. Anybody got any suggestions on how to fill the screen?

adjust setting in history center...if bars are squeezed to left, try scrolling back a page and use refresh, after a min or 2 it should clear up...

Could be your data provider only has a few days of data history on their server. If that's the case you'll have to build up your own data history. Just make sure you open up the chart everyday so that you get the latest bar and that data gets stored locally on your computer.

Thanks volan. I did figure out the problem. The data I got was not EOD, it was hourly, so of course it looked funny on a daily chart. . I've followed your suggestion to try strategybuilderfx MT4 download and that fixed everything for me. Thank you.

I primarily use StrategyBuilderFX. It has 18 pairs, 4 indexes, 8 CFD's and gold.
More than enough to keep me entertained.

As a backup I have Metatrader from Alpari (http://www.alpari-idc.ru) - GMT+1
It has 24 pairs, 14 indexes, 7 futures, 35 CFD's and gold.
I use it to keep an eye on the _DXY - US Dollar index and _CL - light crude.

The _SP500 index goes back to Sept, 2000 on both servers.
While there is no advantage in terms of _SP500 history it does have a few more bars to ponder and serves as an alternative for the occasional glitches in metatrader feeds.
