Repainting Indicator, Please Help!

Hello everyone,

I was hoping that someone who is good at understanding MT4 coding could take a look at this indicator and see if there is any way to rewrite the code so it would not repaint. It would be nice to use this indicator if it did not repaint.

I noticed there are no replies as of yet, and I was just wondering if anyone could at least tell me if it's even possible to fix the repainting issue with the indicator in the first post.

hey faith..... that's one of the many versions of the spearman correlation..... they all will repaint with the exception of possibly one..... can't say for sure but seem like it placed arrows on the chart at the actual spearman crosses...... i clearly remember writing an ea for it...... will scratch around and post it, if it's still here..... h

hey faith..... still lookin...... i have 10's of thousands of ea's , scripts and indicators stored on other computers and flash drives...... will eventualy find it.....

try this, it should repaint less.... it might appear to lag, well it does lag, but that is to reduce the repainting..... you really have to slowly run a backtest in visual mode and place both indicators on the chart to best see and compare.....

any time words like snake or solar are any where in the code, be cautious using it...... the true spearman correlation itself is useful, but when people apply these smoothing snake or solar concepts to it..... well, you can see the result......h
