Using dynamic support/resistance areas and horizontal support/resistance levels to adjust placement of our SL

Hi everyone,

Have a look at the chart below.

Sometimes (as happened today with EJ and yesterday with GU) our trade is triggered but because our stop loss is “exposed” it gets hit!

So what one can do is place the SL “behind” strong support/resistance areas. As long of course if it (the SL) is not going to to be too far away to make the trade untenable.

I have marked (with white lines) areas where this kind of approach might have been a good idea (if we had opened trades at that time going in the opposite direction)

Just wanted to mention a couple of great forecast sites that I check out on a daily basis for market direction.

1/ youtube.com/user/fxbootcamp - check out the latest uploaded video "market alerts" VERY useful

2/ http://www.actionforex.com/action-insight/ - very nice for checking outlook on direction for the main pairs

okay you are right, my mistake it was not a good idea to place a sellstop just above support area and RN
