Howdy, folks. I'm back, and doing a little programming for friends, and need some help. It's been a few years and I look at stuff I did 4 or 5 years ago and think "what the heck is that".
So, this EA will place a pair of orders, and, depending on how they close, will take other paths. Orders can stay open until stopped out, and more orders are placed, and there could be a great number of orders pile up.
So I need to track each and every order that this EA places, until it closes.
What's the best way to do this?
I thought of building an array, and storing every ticket number in a location. The user can enter a "max open trades" variable input, and I can use that as the array size. How do I set that up?
Or I could build a list in a file, but this seems more cumbersome to deal with, and I don't know how to do that either. I think it would be harder that way, and can't think of any advantages unless there were 30 or 40 trades open, and that, I think, would be a bad idea to have that many open.
