Very nice .. but it seems you got in before your zone was touched? .. guess was ok as your 6pips SL was just at the higher and of the zone...
Am I correct?

Thanks so much

It's all good. Just keep practicing making sure you take your 6 pips, get to BE fast and leaving some on for a runner.

You'll be suprised how quickly these add up and how fast your account grows just by picking off these levels.

Currently trailing this.

They can overshoot a touch but again, I just cannot see any reason to buy the EURUSD. What I mean is, just look at the D1 & H4 chart at how bearish that thing is. Even crappy looking supply level are going to work fine.

Here's another EJ one. I wasn't that confident about the level but we had 2 x stacked M1 levels and the higher time frame to support.

why 40 min before you post it?

Yeah there were 2 levels on top of each other. I was wary of it since we've dropped a long way already today. Got in a little early. It was a bit of a nail biter and during a slow part of the session, but the higher level was still bearish.

Here's a 5 minute USDCAD. Looked like a pretty strong price rejection. There's a protective upper level to hide my stops. Will get my stops to BE once this starts to move.

Bit of a swing position this. After shorting EJ all the way down it's time to switch. We're in daily demand and past the ATR.

Yeah I appreciate that some brokers you can only scalp the EU.

I'm looking for NY to reverse course this afternoon. Most pairs have hit their ATR and opposing S&D levels. Although don't quote me on this since I am pants at making predictions.

Just scalped GBP. not quite at BE yet!

Got stopped out on the last GBP trade. Like I say, picking tops and bottoms on the M1 can be very satisfying but the risks of getting burnt are high.

Far better to wait for higher time frame confirmation and then get in on a pullback.

Hi C-12,

You use a 6 pip stop. Have you ever considered to let it depend on the ATR ? So you take the ATR of 3 or 4 bars on the 1 min chart , or something like that? So when the market is quiet, you anticipate in that, and when the market is violating you can take more profit , before you go to break even. BTW, there are 2 nice articles about risk management in fururesmag.com from Michael Gutmann."Calibrating Profit and Loss strategies.

I do make use of ATR but only for an idea of potential daily exhaustion. The 6 pips is a worst case. My stops are mostly behind the level that I'm shorting against.. Unless there's a another nice looking S&D level close by to hide behind.

Cheers for the link. Will have a good read.
