Same here. But i wouldn't take $ either.

When Estonia was voting for € currency one of the slogans was : "€ will not raise the prices" - this was true for 2 weeks the most.Since that, prices have almost doubled. F* cool part about this is also that when we got our € it was at it's peak high 1.5 . 6months later 1.19 . Small businesses lost a lot of money with the exchange from Est Kroon to €.
It has been a pain in the ass since the start here.
I've never liked € and the less I like $, but until shops take Gold, I have to use them unfortunetly....

Since we got € as a currency in our country it has only F* us.

Banks started changeing Estonian Kroon for € for fixed rate. 15,644 - EU was at peak 1,5. 6 Months later EU was at 1,19. Exchange rate eo Est Kroon should have been around 12 - 12.5 . That's about 20% loss in 6 months from the day we got €. Imagine the frustration for companies.
still down trend, but should go up to 1.306 down again !

my guess merkel sending message to the countries on the row of bailout
1st you handle your issues internally, or get prepared for cuts
