In this pair we witness bulding a BAT pattern in addition to a divergence in 4H time frame, and a symmetry pattern too. Once a right trigger is made we can go short. This week as it looks will be a dream week for JPY crosses. With NFE event to come on Friday!!!

JPY short position on CME is already more than what it was on April. Don't know how far it goes but once it starts crumbling it should be fun to watch.

I suspect that a break now below 131.7 would indicate the up-move is complete. Otherwise, the potential is for another move up to a new high around 129.9 ~130 - unless KillerWhale's channel holds at 132.45 and it ends up as a small H&S.

Like 3 or 4 year ago I could catch some nice waves on this currency pair, but after a few trades it has ended the beginner luck.
After that I went to "mastering the scalping" at EUR/USD. Now I got bored with that a bit: highly volatile after London open, at overlap sessions, and Hog Kong open. And it is moving on steps: 2 forward 1 backward

I would like to play with this currency pair and "try my luck" again - ofc I know I need to lear about this par, so I will risk the minimum trade size.

What important news are moving this pair, when is moving?

I see "random waves" only, not really trending as I would like it.
On daily chart I see an ending Bullish trend, because is close to Apr level, so Is time to look better and wait for short signals? -1-2 week, but than is XMAS there are small random movements only.

Any idea, beside of skip?

If you look at the last 5 days of PA we a series of HL's & HH's with yesterday being an inside day & today not completed. We are currently in a consolidation pattern & favoring a break to the upside.
