We all agree this is going up before big leg down .. but i will be looking PA around 38% to 50% retrace.. to start go short

I'm predicting the market will down next week.
Price was ranging for more than 20 candles on TF4 and it was strong indication price will make big movement next week.
Those looking for Long to be more careful and put SL for precautions.
CSP Bearsih Engulfing formation on Daily TF was strong indicator that market will down.

Anyway, this is only from my self analysis and hope it useful to all GJ lovers.

The bearish engulfing pattern has less significance when the pair is in choppy markets-which is the scenario now. Also, the next candle of a bearish engulfing pattern is usually a fakeout so we might get better price to sell.

Technically, I agree with you that yes, GBP/JPY seems to be in a downtrend. If we were to analyze what happened last Friday, a lower high was made and a lower low was done.

However, if there are positive Brexit news, this pair can easily shoot up 200-300 pips.

Based on the bearish engulfing, bears target could be as low as 135.35, but I don't know if it will play out.
Based on pre-market rates, it seems like yen pairs are heading for a downwards opening, but not very substantial.

GBP/JPY is the strongest though. NZD/JPY is currently -0.28%.
i might change my opinion again with GJ

as long price remain below 139.10 then i am bearish and we could target 133 to 135

so i might open a short if it goes up little bit with SL 1h close above 139.10

I'm actually looking at price to make a run up to 139.50 area and fail, so we create a LH and then the downtrend shall continue, that's just my opinion and the market will do whatever it wants lol.

Hopefully we get some nice moves because it has been choppy lately n difficult.
