Is it possible to convert this to an MQ4 file. I want to change the bar candles. I would also like to confirm that this is Heiken Ashi candles. How is this formulated to look like normal candlesticks? Thank you.

Re: If not possible to convert, I would at least like to have Green and red candles instead of lime and red.

Xaphod. How are you? I should've PM you first. Thanks. I think I found it posted by Hanover. Do you know what is the difference between this HA candles and the other? These look like regular candles with the normal body.

I'm fine thanks. There are multiple copies to be found here at ff. No, I do not know anything about the indicator, however an educated guess from the name would be that it displays regular candles colored with the same color as the corresponding HA candles.

Hi,

I found the .mq4 file in my archives. However, I doubt that I wrote this as the coding style is significantly different to my own. It looks like it's been modified by at least one other programmer, to add the alerts. I attached it to a chart and it doesn't plot Heikin Ashi candles.

If you want HA candles, I suggest that you try something similar to the attached indys instead. There are also lots more HA indys around, if you want to search for them, both on FF and also forex-tsd.

Finally..... found the thread regarding the OHLC - HA. Looks like I modified an existing indy to meet the above request. In other words, it was always intended to plot normal candles, but colored to match HA. I've written so many indys over the years; sorry, but my memory is not that good. The curse of impending old age.
