oh man, I'm fed up with this luck thing. I had to leave my computer for a while when the trade was around +15. I just came back and saw that it had went down to miss my TP by 2 pips and climbed back up and hit my stop. it's like a prank. we have a saying in Turkish for situations like that "I have such a luck that if I were to be left at a desert, a polar bear would come and screw me"... and now the price is going down again...
Those forex polar bears are vicious. Felt it a little dicey, but played out nicely.

nice catches verto. but, be careful about eurnzd. eurusd is about to come to yesterday's strong demand level. it might jump upwards again...

I've taken my fill from it. The rest of the position is on the breakeven ride wherever it may go.

didnt got the desired pa to go long earlier (marked with elipse)so passed the first time.
now enter long after rejection wicks.enter on brk of the rejection wick high.
stop is only 7 pips.

edit:trailed sl=be.
edit 2:took half for +12 remaining on BE.

we must follow what price is telling us.
looking to the left explains why i choose to close half position at that point.
trailng the rest to BE and what i want to see is the break of recent high.(marked with elipse).
either it will happen or not but trailing sl=be+ reducing my stress.(and preserving my capital).
will continue managing and trailing stop.

20 pips more and I'll call it a day...

by the way, I had a pending buy order at about daily support line (the one in yellow area) which was missed by just half a pip. if I had it or executed a market order, my day would soon be finished. anyway, I like missing targets with such little figures in the sense that it shows me that I'm on the right track...

still riding my long from like 2 hrs ago.
super slow action!we are getting a valubale lesson as to PATIENCE.
its a risk free trade ,waiting for higher targets to get hit.

As usual, there will always be missed trades!

In long run I am sure I miss just as many that go bad as those that go good. Hopefully

wow, I didn't realize how symmetrical these two were. it's like a mirror was placed between these two charts...

you're right about missed opportunities. I don't try to look at parities other than EURUSD, at least for now (until I quit my daily job ). so I am not distracted and worried about them.

Well, I honestly use to think like that, but then one day I said to myself: "Open every pair and dial up the TF, pick clear zones and watch PA around them."

I miss some, of course, and don't take them all due to correlation, but only picking quality zones and not forcing anything is fairly liberating.
price just insisted not to enter into zone and drove me crazy. I had a relatively bad entry but still waiting with my pending order in the zone...

edit: ok, I'm in. now you can go up!!!

well, you may be right about that. before trading S&D, I was trying to be successful with Choros style from Trading Systems section. there it is recommended to follow only one pair until you get accustomed to its moves, patterns, etc. surely this method doesn't require this, but this might be a thought/habit from that. anyway, if I can implement my plans, I will be doing as you do within 2-3 months time. I can wait that

With pa one can go long and short. However, given the problems in the Eurozone, my bias has been short EUR:USD, short oil, GLD and SLV (although SLV is hitting a support level for the 3rd time). Having said that, the Fed, ECB and BoE can throw a monkey wrench into the the matrix at anytime. Twist, Qe3, etc. etc.
