The angle of the line tells you how much the market is overbought or oversold...If the angle is sharp and approaching 90, the market is overbought or oversold based on the slope of the line, and vice versa...
So you see, a simple line + its' slope can actually give you an idea about the trend as well as the overbought/oversold, and yet without the use of any indicators
