just going back looking at the trades and the posts I like to find out why you have doubt with a long trade and that it will go against you...enclosed are the charts of H1/H4 and the entry on the 15 min..are they not telling that a long is viable rather than a short? I really would like to know why ? we can learn by sharing

Hi Pips29,

Humm dont know,, i wouldnt be too convinced...
If i had to look at on the H4 Chart i would be very careful, it seemed that the last candle had a big wick and looked like a rejection, forming a big pinbar.
On the H1 it also confirms that pinbar and even worst didnt close over previous high... making a DT.
On H1 if you look at structure, PA was making HL and LL, so that DT would confirm structure and would expect to carry south making a fresh LL.
But luckily wasnt the case, and good for you.

Also on M15 the long entry was confirmed a bit later, making your entry a bit premature.. but nothing else as ur trade ended +ve.

yes that's so very true...pinbars can be "fake" depending on where they are located...I was sure price was going up when the current swing high was taken out by more than 5 pips though price did retrace and formed a pinbar..as the rejection occurred at an area where I find no real resistence I knew price will continue moving up where the resistence is seen in the form of consolidation candles higher up and my target was even higher than this zone...if price can overcome this area my target would be easily hit imo... traders use HA/apb candles to trade for fear of getting out too early when they see a candle like a pinbar...HA/apb keep you in the cool...clearer with a chart

yes, rest is always good before you embark on trading and get your brain all worked up..I don't recall things as easily as I like and so if you post the chart I then can picture what you are saying but I gather that the trade went in your favour and later stopped you out at b/e...am I right? EDit: I wish to point out when trading yen pairs it's good to get a view of what u/y is doing...when this pair is trending up, you will find other pairs doing the same if there is no bad news affecting the other currencies
