The problem is that people do not bother to fully go through all of the information, do the necessary work, but only scratch the surface. If you spend the time required to go through all of the information presented you can see that methods presented are sound trading techniques.

You would never seriously expect to make money with any approach without the required work involved would you ?.

Think about it... Then perhaps lets just stream that into an EA and voila we have the holy grail dont we ?

The answer is simple, you need to apply all of your trading knowledge and sound trading principles. This thread is about listing many of them, its not about a holy grail system. In fact it's the furthest from any system you can get, its about sound trading principles coupled with position neutral market trading. That is the concept underneath the basket, to be position neutral, and by varying your bias you arrive at profit.

If you decide to use SL or not, that is simply apreference. You can do either or... makes no difference as long as you limit your risk.

No one trading should ever trade without predefining the risk, and managing that right? There are various ways to do that however not just only one.

The concepts that are presented, by brijon and chips, have been preseneted in a way that a novice could understand and try, for some, used to many many forex terms, this may not be the best approach. Those need terms that speak the stadardized forex jargon. Yet all that is said bu chips at the beginning can easilly be tarnslated, with just a little desire from the reader.

Eventually you are ultimatelly responsible for doing your own homework on all these subjects.

I try to keep an open mind. I've been a profitable trader as a profession for years now, so a lot of little things become apparent after 100k hours of screentime.
I'm a bit confused by your post...your first assumption is wrong. The 2nd point you made disagreed with what I said...and then confirmed what I said? Ranges is completely irrelevant to hedging twice the size in the opposite direction.
Is there some other method to control DD that I am missing? Otherwise you are going overleveraged against losing positions, hoping they turn into winners.

As to number 2, it is a matter of going wrong on the short trend within a larger trend, and rebalancing the trade with a larger position, not 2X but somewhat lesser once the trend has been re-established. A practical example: take NZD/JPY 1H, Primary trend is up, you enter long on on feb 10th at 1pm est, and move into DD. Wait until the trend has been reestablished, use Shi, Pitchforks, resistance or the square, either one will do. Enter Long 0.5x on Feb 12 at 19:00Est.

Since you have been trading for a long time, you will quickly see the effect of this. Now under normal trading with Stop loss you would be out of the first trade and now you would be still entering the second. You could offcourse say that you would never enter the trade in that place to begin with, but you know that this is not always so clear.

This is not so exciting yet now bring up nzd/usd into the mix, point being is that nzd/usd should offset the effects of nzd/jpy when correlated and allow you to make a clearer decision as to and when the direction changes.

With the demo basket of currencies this is not so easy since these are weighted to the usd/jpy heavy and also positions sizes are not accounted for, but if you use something more stable like the t101 14 pair, or even newer variations of the pairs, you can achieve a pretty neutral postion.

So where normally you would have a problem with increasing a position that is in DD, when you have a basket of currencies, the effects of a single currency are muted. When you are considering all these techniques that will fail with a single trade, consider these as a part of greater portfolio, and rexamine them in that context.
Pitbull shows that printing money is the forex is easy...
use the pitbull to print money in your account it is easy...

but controlling the DD...is 95%...practice..and thinking...

there is no holy grail...you hoy grail is controlling DD.

but practice the pitbull for 1 month...and you will see.

there is no 1-2-3...

I have said it over and over and over...ppl are still looking for something else other than practice...

practice is the key...use the base system...to paly the game of controlling DD....

There are other techniques...for more advance traders....or new ppl who want to learn...sound trading principle..but

practice..DD ...practice trading the market..using the pitbull...

then move to the next level...the world is yours if you want...\

if you want a 1-2-3 method ..this is not for you....

if you want a holy grail...this is not for you....if you want to control DD..then practice...for 1 month....at least...

Taking profit is easy....anyone can do it....but you will see that controlling dd is hard....

key is position size ...greed.. patience...then think profit...

i was curious to see the coding genius behind indicators that are misspelled.... twice. so i opened that samir BITBULL ABOSLKJFDKS shit fucking indicator and what do i find inside? decompiled mql code.

the last time i decompiled my own code to alter it etc was... hmm... never. the only reason to decompile mql is when you are not the owner and only have access to the ex4, as in, the writer did not want to release the actual code and instead only released the compiled indi/script/ea. so some fuck comes along, decompiles it, then has the stupidity to not even correctly rename the thing.

these guys are so, SO, stupid! but we all knew that anyway. it's fun to poke at the tards now and then to see them squirm, and they continue to amaze me by finding new ways to show how dumb they are.
