Trying to explain as best as i can....Sorry for my poor english !!

To avoid periods of range, if SMA 5 cross EMA 50 3 times, you count the next candles : as you can see on the chart, the black line (SMA 5) cross the blue line (EMA 50) 3 times. After that we have 4 candles before another cross.
4< 15 candles. go on.
After that, we have 8 candles before another cross. 8< 15. go on.
After that, we have 9 candles before another cross. 9< 15. go on.
After that, we have more than 15 candles without a new cross,so we are waiting for a candle closing more than 100 pips from EMA 50 for an entry.

Zebulon, if the first candle storms through the 100 pip barrier, say over by 200 pips ... do you still take it ?

I am willing it could be helpful.
