About this regression channel {image} sometimes i use it for better 'visualized' the swing, but remember that this indicator (as usual) was repainting following the price movement..lol, and also heavy resources consumer.. coz the way it plot the line not from buffer but from thousands of dot objects.. Could I ask how you deal with the repainting nature of the regression bands. In previous experiments with them I found they are great to look at but didn't do much live as they react after the fact. I haven't tried the indicator you posted yet. Did you make any modifications?

This is off topic. That's a very impressive and simple Renko trading method. I trade in a similar way but with different indicator but the problem is sudden reversals. Am currently working on a way to apply currency strength or trend bias to reduce whipsaws.

Hi, the question is, do you know how to use this regression channel and what to look for ?

Generally sometimes i need this RegChannel to find out where is the middle of the curve.. to put my parallel trendlines (Equidistant Channel), so actually i really need that repainting nature of this RegChannel to watch the last curve forming

Previous 2 trades stopped out at trailing stop for totals mentioned before. 55 on the move today in USD/JPY missed the short yesterday. Weeks total now sits at 138 on 3 trades

Do you use an EA when you trade using Renko?
Looks like the market likes it when Washington plays kick the can. Good moves overnight 78 locked on GBP and 120 on Euro trailing stop by 20 pips

I buy on blue and sell on red the system is not mine I got it from Calstar. I have the SMC candles but they continually repaint and I could never get that solved. I think they are based on the trix indicator and plot the trix itself as a candle if that helps? Sorry I cant help you more but I don't use them. Regarding patterns the only one I use is a trend line which has proven for me and others in the thread to be very useful.

So it definitely looks like the indicator that Kickme is using is either exactly SMC4Scalper or something very similar to it. Attached is the indicator that I found off the internet with the settings that produced very similar candle coloring. BUT the Renko chart that Kickme is using is very different from the regular Renko charts that we build with RenkoLiveChart EA. Perhaps Kickme wants to help us out by sharing his chart making EA instead of showing off all the pips he makes hehe

Anyways, hope this helps out someone. Play with the settings until you get a good setting for each pair.

The Renko I am using is not mine to share as I posted many posts back. The indicator is the design of Calstar. It is compiled and when I was going to decompile it I lost it and had to beg to get it back. If you want the indicator I would simply contact him. He has a trading group and I happen to know that the indicator is being traded by others on this forum with great success. I am posting here mostly as a journal and perhaps given that I now get at least 5 negative crappy PM's a day should move on to another thread. My point in my posts is that you do not need indicators to trade Renko. In fact you shouldn't be using any at all. Price action trading is just that Price action trading. When you add indicators you clog it all up and are more likely to screw it up then pump it up. There is no grail boys and girls only tales of such.

100% correct.. and you can't achieved that in half-day Webinar about PA..
I honestly think that people should share something that actually helps another rather than please their own egos. I see a lot of ego pleasing going on in this forum but not a lot of genuine help.. just my opinion.

Many thx for sharing have a problem that it keeps freezing for me and there is a delay with the drawing of the candle I have tried it on 2 platform and it happens on both. Any ideas???? Apologies for the large shots wanted to get as much of screen as I could

This new candle repaints I added this new indicator and got this on my aud chart. For those interested I got it thru an email promo yesterday. One of those ones where you register your email so you can get 100's of new offers. Perhaps its worth exploring.
