Strange "No Connection" Problem in MT4

I have a strange problem with MT4 in so much as when I register as a new account everything works fine.
Charts update, tick information comes thru etc...

However, when I shut it down and restart, I get the No Connection error.
Even when I key in the original user ID and Password, it still doesn't connect.

Anyone have any idea why this is occuring and how I get round it ?

Just solved this problem..

basically your old profile is not deleted when mt4 is uninstalled..and it prevents the new profile from loading..so would have to manually delete it..the full steps to do it can be found here..
