I think I will stick to H1 for the time being.
There are many trades and I'm used to this TF
Now in GBPCHF +50

You have a great multi TF indicator in the top right hand corner of your charts, can you share its source? An easy one look tells the complete story. thanks, p.

just curious lawgirl21 - why do you trade two very correlated pairs? why not just focus on one?
Ignored
I trade 3 correlated pairs. Because they so closely follow each other, I can double or triple my pips on a good move. However, I enter each pair based purely on that pairs set up.

Just started trading this on a small account in conjunction with the BO strategy, focussing on breakouts in the trend direction after London open.

Initial trade:

CHFJPY long @ 84.979 (18 pip SL) = quick 55 pip profit.

Once that trade was closed, I moved the SL on the following trades to nearby S/R to secure in a small profit, so as not to negate my CHFJPY win for the day! I eventually closed them out upon recross of the SMAs.

USDCAD short @ 1.01914 = 29 pips
NZDUSD long @ 0.79467 = 17 pips
EURCHF short @ 1.23903 = 19 pips

My initial stoploss...

Sharp turndown on my 3 pairs. US $ index is down, so dollar pairs should be down. Playing the waiting game for EU, GU and AU to choose a direction.

Agreed. I spotted a beautiful recross on the M15 for CHFJPY with everything pointing in the right direction.

I've re-entered long with a fairly tight SL, but the price is bouncing all over the place! Will be calling it a day after this trade I think.

Probably wise. Looks like some stop hunting going on with the whipsaws. EU popped up around 40 pips on my short trade, then back down immediately....looking for stops.

I look at them both, but because I am somewhat impatient, I am using the EMAs primarily because they seem to give a quicker signal. However, the smoothed are more conservative and likely give a more confirmed signal.

One more thing if I may, to my question last night, you said when you take your trades on the 1hr, you wait for the 15min for confirmation.
Could you expand on that please.

Thanks
Aj1

Thank you. I see you use a 200 ema for trend direction, I use 150. Either one should be ok. Thanks again, p.

The M30 with the M5 for confirmation should give a good signal.
