Data for Backtesting

Hello all

I would like to open my posting debut by thanking the many traders at this site that have been kind enough to share their ideas and knowledge with the rest of us. I have learn't more in the few months I have spent reading the posts in this forum (and others) than I have in the past four years, in which time I have been totally engulfed in the markets and anything remotely realated.

My problem is that I would like to manually test a system I have been working on but oanda only provides about 500 hours of data. FXCM provides 1000 hours, but I want years and years of hourly data.

Does anyone know where I can get this data for free?

I know this is a selfish first post offering absolutly nothing in the way of positive contributions, but I hope this will change once I start making some steady $$$ and feel I am qualified to give some opinions.

welcome to the forum

If you don't have MT4 yet, get familiar with it, because it will probably become your buddy.

Here are some places to grab data for them(usually you can just go to the history center in mt4 and click download to get more data).
