just read something worth reading..... or so it seemed to me.....
be a investor or be a trader, but not both.....
the exception to his 'rule' might be the truly accomplished trader, if one exists..... that person might know when to change lanes or perhaps to know which pair is investor or trader friendly.......
//----
a trader might have a open trade or two with easy to grasp targets......
however,
an investor on the other hand might have hundreds of trades with a wide varity of lot sizes at hundreds of entry points..... and targets that stretch out years.....
it is possible to code thousands of trades in advance with a final combined target years in advance.... and know the exact dollar profit, years in advance.... +/- the only unknown, that being the impact of spread.....
no different than chess matches being played out in ones mind or jet li's and donnie yen's fight which was first fought in their minds......
speakin of yen's,
(note, this not in anyway a suggestion to buy or sell anything) ......
lookin at the usdjpy chart below the existing 14 orders combined value is known each step of the investor's way.... and the ea knows the next 500 now.....
each time a new order is placed, the schedule would update to take it into consideration and adjust the future combined values....
the usdjpy is hard to see due to being so zoomed out, the usdchf chart shows the same idea better......
//---
//---
anywho, the articles theme was for most of us to pick a lane, fast or slow..... as for me, i'm going so slow you'd think i was double parked........h
