Hi there

Does anyone know of a MT4 indicator which will identify all the candles in a chart for a particular time - eg all the 8am candles? Maybe by using colour?

It would greatly help me in my visual backtesting of a manual strategy if specific hourly candles could be easily identified.

Or does anyone know a quick and easy alternate way to do this?

This is possibly not an ideal solution, but this indy will plot (among other things) vertical lines or boxes at set times on your chart.

If you want multiple lines, e.g. at 7am, 9am and 11am, simply attach the indy multiple times.

Hey, you've given me a great idea. I'll enhance the indy to have a Wingdings symbols plotting option, so that it can plot arrows above/below candles also.

This is just fantastic. It works perfectly - exactly what I was hoping to find! It has made visual backtesting SO much easier.
