MT4 on Win 7 - Cannot save detailed report?

Hi .. i just got a new computer with Win 7 Professional x64 installed. When i click on "Save as Detailed Report" in my mt4 Account History, nothing happens ... ?????

I know in my Win XP computer, when i did the same, Internet Explorer would open with a new tab and all history would be on that.

Anyone know whats going on? I'm running as admin - i have no problem saving templates, etc ... just problem with saving my trading history report!

You should not run it as admin, this can create all kinds of other and even seemingly unrelated problems. Instead you should just install MT4 into a different folder (a folder in which the user has full permissions) and run it as a normal user. Everything else is not recommended.

Thanks for your reply.

My MT4 is already saved in a different folder - by default I installed it in C:Forex.

Also, when i say i am running on ADMIN mode, i meant to say i have no other accounts, im running on whatever my PC TECH GUY installed me on as default, and i pretty sure its with full permissions (coz i have no other issues with installing stuff, saving files, etc...)

Any other suggestions?
Somewhere along the line, you deleted the 2 templates called statement and StatementDetailed from the template folder. When your MT4 program tries to create a current statement, it looks to those files as models. If it can't find them, it just doesn't create anything, nor does it offer you a polite message - nothing happens at all (this is what we call user-unfriendly-programming).

Easy solution: go to any of your other MT4 brokers folders and copy those two files from their templates and paste them into the template folder of the broker that you are unable to export a report from now. You don't even have to quit and restart the MT4 to do this: you can add the files in even while the program is running.
