We will try to match the 0.36 by giving out 0.37 here at KickBackFX.

It's a bridge into metatrader, so in theory it should be the same since it goes to the same MT4 backend.

It's slick though, I've been playing with it quite a bit and I like it a lot.

I have a few friends on Mac and Linux who want a decent web trader (and who aren't crazy about running MT4 in Wine on their platforms) and this will work for them. (The old web trader worked too, but this new one is so much nicer.)

Try copying your user name then pasting it into the box.

Failing that, start a life support chat..

Works fine on my end BTW.

Remember: you can only enter in numbers to the account id field, it won't respond to letters.

thanks, i tryed both (pepper account and mt4 account) none seem to be working, anyhow i've managed to get it to work as demo, it doesn't seem to have any advantage over mt4, in fact its not that good, no custom indi/ea, no market depth. (altho on the original sirix website demo there is social trading and live news which is nice, sadly they are inexistent on the pepper version )
but still, its nice to have something like that for tablet or Linux. (mt4/mt5 for android its just stupid imo)

Trading is closed during rollover for 5 minutes from 5PM EST. This is an every day thing.

You probably got caught up in that.

That has happened to me before (quite a long time ago). Just shut down MT4 platform and quickly restart. Close order then worked. Have no real idea what happened or why. I think the real answer is, its a computer, that's why.

It's not really an MT4 specific thing, it's just how some broker handle the 5pm EST (00:00 in MT4 for Pepper) end of day in the FX market. A lot of banks /LPs use the time just after 5pm to "change shifts", clear trades, process daily interest rates, refresh for the next day, etc.. 5pm EST being the industry's generally accepted 'end of day' as the NYC session closes... so some brokers use this time to process rollovers, and since liquidity can get very thin right at rollover (and thus, spreads get wide) some brokers hold off on execution for a few minutes.

Anyway, ask Pepper's live chat about it for more details, they'll explain better.

Here is my experience with one of my strategies. It only exits on hard TP or SL (SL includes full losses and BE). That is 240 trades, one trade per day entered in relatively quiet markets and away from news. Exits are all over the place including during news releases if it so happens.

SL gets slipped often and of course it's almost without exception negative slippage.
TP gets slipped positively and negatively but I get good slippage slightly more often.

It's my standard EDGE account.

Have edited previous post, that cluster of trades that got slipped 5 pips was my mistake. There is no such cluster. SL slippage now looks much better. Sorry for that.
