I'm currently programming a system that will open an order if the high or low of the previous bar is broken by a small buffer (e.g. 2 pips).
My program opens the stop order on the first tick of the new bar.
In some instances where the new bar opens price is very close to my order price. Is there a minimum pips that a stop order should be away from current price?
What is the best way to overcome this problem without increasing the buffer?
Thanks if advance for any advice.
