I'm trying to achieve something in programming MT4, but don't really know how to approach it yet.
I would like to trade off the daily bars, but don't feel comfortable having a Sunday bar. For me personally the Forex week starts on Monday and ends Friday.
So what I would like to do is to calculate my own open, close, high and low for a daily bar, no matter which time zone a Broker has set.
Example: Broker shows two hours of data on Sunday (2 H1 bars).
I want to take these two hours plus the next day -2 hours (22hours) to calculate my own daily bar.
Same with the rest of the week 2 hours from last day and only 22 from following day
So far I think I have to do something like that.
Get the data off of 1H time frame.
1st candle on Sunday open = day open
last candle (-2) of next day = day close
store all 1H highs/lows of 1st to last bar in variables, calculate the high and low.
Anybody any input? Did somebody already approach something like that.
