I found Manesh's video about Ichimoku very good. I watched it 3 times. I am still learning more about ichimoku and am amazed about it the more I learn.

I just found this intro doc.

I will post my results in a couple of days. In my experience so far Ichimoku worked best for me.

I usually trade small time frames 5 min. to 15 min. etc and usually get 20 pips. I am only using demo at the moment. I will post my results in a couple of days. I am still an amateur though.

Just to update my account activity:
Profit in 1 day (Oct 31-Nov 1): $236.27

I shorted EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and USD/CAD.

I have some active trades but will post them when I take profit or when stopped by stop-loss.

Just to update my demo account.
Profit from Monday Nov 1 to Wed Nov 3(today): $323.37
I will close the demo since it doesn't let me do any more trades. I started trading real with my Alpari UK account. I have a mini account and deposited US$ 200.

I will regularly post my account info here. I am not putting my entries/exits. You will see the reports.

I also purchased Manesh's Ichimoku book and am reading it. I am also reading Alexander Elder's "Come Into My Trading Room." I also trade stocks. I would recommend for those interested to watch Manesh's weekly updates on Youtube. Here is the link: www.youtube.com/sunman4008

As of Nov. 9, 2010 my demo account is $6128.48. I started with $3000. So far so good. I am amazed of Ichimoku.

I am also reading Manesh Patel's Ichimoku book which is quite good. It's hard to see the charts on Ipod though. I would definetely recommend the book. I am also reading Alexander Elder's book as well.

I mainly use Ichimoku on Forex but am trying to use it in stocks but so far haven't had a good chance to trade stocks with it.

At the moment I am shorting AUD/USD and long on USD/CAD. I am trying to stick to 4-5 pairs maximum. Since I live in Canada and follow the business news, and economy I trade USD/CAD.

I would still recommend checking out the Fibonacci levels the pairs you are trading. For the daily and weekly I also use MACD and RSI for confirmation.

It is still bullish but will run out of steam sooner or later.

I'm always glad to see that others support this complex but
multi-layered overlay in their trading. I've thrown in another
