Using mutliple lots or martingale is the idea that when yer wrong, you just add more positions until either 1) you are ruined 2) you are in profit again. 2 is of course what you hope for.
But really, would it not be better to let a loosing position go, and add to winning ones?
Now the problem with that for me, is that i would not have the time to, when things start to move in the right direction, its often done in one move.
But what if one could get skilled enough to gauge the given situation and predict probabilities, and base lot size on that? Im not thinking dramatic differences there, just somewhere between 0.5 to 1% in max SL of total account under sane conditions.
