EA coding needed

Sorry since new member cannot start thread, let me do it here.

I want to write an EA to check for my equity in an account running multiple EAs and if the total draw down is 20%, then
(1) I want to close all orders
(2) And I want to stop all other EAs in the same account from trading again.
I know how to do (1) but I don't know how to do (2)

Can I do that just using MQL4 code? Would you please teach me how or point me to an existing code that do (2) ?

Too bad you had to hijack somebody else's thread, not something I want to encourage, but I understand.

If you have the equity check that closes orders in all your EAs, then presumably they would get the same result and close down at the same time. If the other EAs can't be modified because you don't have the source code, you have a problem. You can close the orders of course from another EA, but that might trigger the other EA to open another trade and there is nothing that can be done to prevent that. As well there is no way to disable or remove an EA programmaticly.

The best I can suggest is put an alert in your EA that signals the equity drawdown conditions (perhaps even several early warnings) and then you manually disable all running EAs.
