DislikedI took out the 5 and 8 EMA cross on the 2nd step. I just require 5 to be above 8 EMA when the 2nd step happens.Ignored

DislikedWell, EA is made on your strategy, so strategy has a small profitability. Look chart.Ignored
DislikedI would not want to start my trading day on an angry note and thats what you are trying hard to make me do..If you'd been patient enough to go thru this thread, then you'd known the EA in question is still being tested and not even confirmed ok yet..... and here you come saying its ''made on your strategy, so strategy has a small profitability''...
Is this the way you jump to conclusions and dwarf peoples effort without even trying it out?....Ignored
DislikedIt made more than 910 trades from 01/01/2001 to 20/07/2010
In average it's making 1 trade per each day (7 days weeks)Ignored
DislikedThanks for your efforts Jasus..still trying to make it work here..but from the number of trades you said it took, i have a feeling the EA is not ok yet. the no of trades shouldnt be that much for the said period...
I'll still try and get it to work, then i'll know exactly where the adjustment is/are needed..but right now, i continue with my manual trading and i must go now to prepare for the start of a new trading day....Ignored

Dislikedi tested this on EU M5 between april 1 2010 and july 09 2010, it generated 15 orders, 14 are winners and 1 loser !!!!! with SL 250 pips and TP 50. i know 250 is bad, but the hit ratio is very good.
i didnt notice there is a multiplier 10 on stoploss, i entered 25 but the code took it as 250 , thats how i ended up with this settings.
i will try with smaller numbers like 200, 150, 100Ignored
Disliked13bar rule is not working properly, i guess. with this line, we are always looking at ALL conditions on same bar in all prev 13bars. EMAConditions should be checked only for current bar and check step2,1 in last 13barsIgnored

STEP 2
Watch for bullish candle to open and close above EMA 200 [maximum of 2 candles after step 1]...at this point we take a look at the other EMA's 5,8,25,55
Dislikedwhat do you mean by "with this line, we are always looking at ALL conditions on same bar in all prev 13bars. EMAConditions should be checked only for current bar and check step2,1 in last 13bars" ?
What the code is doing is to see if there is a bar that meets step 3 conditions. if there is, it first sees if step 2 was concluded in this bar and then sees if step 1 was concluded in the last 2 bars.
if step 2 wasn't on the same bar as step 3, we go to this part of the code, where it checks if step 2 happened on the last 13 bars (and step 1 maximum...Ignored
Dislikedthe EMA Condition is for step 3 not 2. EMA condition means 5 >8, 25>55, 5>200, 8>200, 25>200, 55>200. this allignment EMAs is called step3.
first cross of 200 ema is step1
bullish candle that opens and closes above 200 is step2 and should occur within max 2 candle from step1
allignment of EMAs (called EMACondition) occurs in step3 and this should be within 12 bars from step2Ignored
DislikedI tried it that way too, still bad backtest results.
After you backtest click open chart and you'll see all the entries and exits, you can see if everything's ok.Ignored
