DislikedHi Guys,
I have just read through this thread re Axi and slippage and i have these comments...
Firstly, I'm new to FX trading, 2 years now and and have gone full time 6 weeks ago...
I agree that all my dealing with Axi have been great and have no problems with the customer service, funding and withdrawing money, no problems at all...
However I have had issues with being put into trades or taken out to the pip, which seems questionable...
The first incident was EUR/AUD back on the 2012.11.15 one minute bare at 15:30...This bar spiked...Ignored
DislikedHi c12,
Yes it's very disappointing, I'm in the market a lot and i'm very much into the details and run a number of demo and live accounts with other brokers and although i have seen this on other brokers, is my most active account, i notice it more there....I do compare price from my axi account alot accross all the brokers that i have...This type of spiking in price and spread makes it very difficult to trade, as the can (and do often) spike through pivots, rounds numbers and obvious support and resistance points....so, you find your self...Ignored
DislikedHey Wiggy1965,
Are you saying that just because there is a pivot point , support or resitance levels, or a round number the price should more often than not just stop and turn around whithout spiking to your stop because it’s an obvious place for it to do so… ? Or, am I not following your last post right.? Think larko just gave a pretty good explanation for this.
Funny how our trading styles make us view brokers differently. I am actually getting better fills lately with these guys than others, thus making my profits a bit bigger and losses...Ignored
DislikedHey Ramy,
Do you trade manually or discretionary?
I gave up a long time ago on manual trading... It just never seemed to work for me. So I took the lazy way out and started EA trading.. Never looked back!Ignored
Disliked@Ramy3,
That's not what I'm saying, refer to my earlier post, i provided a couple of examples....Ignored
DislikedThanks for the links, i currently going back to looking at these tools
Seems odd though, you don't appear to be worried about AXI and your using stealth trading tools...!
I'll make you a deal, if all of a sudden believe i was wrong about AXI, i'll post here that i'm wrong, however if you drop AXI, then you post here....!

DislikedHey,
You’re not being lazy, you figured out what suits, so you’re way ahead of many.
Yeah, I tend to try and keep it as mechanical as possible, with a mix of both. Will really depend on the move. When I alone take some “I think this will work trade” I get my behind handed to me, lol. Can’t really code it into an EA though. Would be nice. I could become lazy too.
I have a couple of EAs I am working on. It’s a lot of time to invest, especially the learning curve part, then the coding, the testing, etc...
Did you buy your EAs?Ignored

DislikedI mainly use tick scalping EA's which I purchase myself yes. I've been getting into it a lot more with my own strategies and the potential for moving into getting someone to code them. But that will be a long way away. I am finding good results with AXI recently using tick scalping EA's, like #1 and SuperScalper which has been really positive.
One day I'll have a whole war chest of my own thoughIgnored
