DislikedUC Short.. It's late Friday so I took a reduced position and planning on holding the trade. I wasn't too interested in trading today due to the massive moves yesterday and thinking the market would need a day to rest. {image}Ignored

DislikedIf you're trying to get your feet wet with high volume closes. I'd recommend sticking with major pairs and just concentrate on the levels created by the previous day(s) home sessions. Either the highest volume or if you see a bar with a big increase in volume. It keeps it things simple and keeps your chart clean, plus the closes during the home session work well just before big moves. If you see price flip flopping around these closes its a good bet that price is going to be choppy for a while. You can use home sessions from 1-2 days back, I wouldn't...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I saw video from ICT ... but after i hear by analyzing the price action, he said "it feels unnatural .... " after hear that i'm not interested to see the video till finish ha ha ha because his chart reading is based on "feeling" not the fact ... i dont like it, VSA use volume spread analysis to get the fact to predict the next movement .... guys i'm too lazy to learn based on "feeling" ... it will need hours ... days ... or months to get the "feeling" ... it may work for some ... but I'm not interested sorry guys just my personal opinion...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Sorry Mate, no offense ... it was just my personal opinion, maybe i'm just too lazy to learn new thing cause VSA already works for me but if you think it can bring you forward for trading just go ahead ....Ignored
Disliked{quote} I'm not trying to change your opinion, I just want to honestly share my thoughts. From the very first time I opened Tom's book, I have wanted to do one thing: Trade only with Price and Volume (more specifically, trade only with Volume Spread Analysis ((VSA))). Below is what I would call a VSA only trade. Note: I am showing candles, yet VSA technically does not look at the open thus, High/Low/Close bars are more pure to VSA. VSA ONLY {image} 1. A Widespread UP bar on climatic volume that closes off its high. VSA teaches that weakness appears...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Very inspiring post mate, and appreciate the honesty as it gives a small glimpse into a seasoned traders experience and struggles with VSA. I dont know about anyone else here, but without these type of insights of the realities of VSA you can be left wondering/ chasing something that actually may not 100% exist. And as growing traders I think reality checks are important, and usually just comes down to simple honesty. This is maybe a slight digression, although I do see a relevance..... There was a video about Seb Manby using footprint...Ignored
