DislikedI understand the logic of drawing the trigger line at the top of a HV widespread down bar to look for a possible break and long set up But what I see is often see is widespread up bars being broken and retested and then price carrying on up with the trend. So my question is does it really matter if the HV widespread bar is an up bar or down bar? Surely the most important thing is that it is broken and retested and that is what gives us the directionIgnored

All that said we need to consider the background structure of the market and what current PA is telling us. Because that UHV down bar from my point #1 above could just as well end up being a SOW if we've taken out a previous swing low...
