When does the leverage stop

Hi. I was wondering are there any leverage limitations. For example if you have an account with 100 000 $ you are not allowed to use leverage right ? Thanks in advance

Wrong.

Some brokers will reduce leverage on larger accounts, especially the brokers who offer extremely high leverage. For example a broker who offers 500:1 may only allow it on accounts up to 5 or 10k, then reduce it to 200:1 or 100:1 for larger accounts.

There is no across-the-board rule stating that no leverage is allowed after 100k. In the real world of trading, 100k is not a huge account.
