I saw him but I'm assuming Mr. Clarence knows how to spell his last name. Eclay said his last name was Ferrel.
Ignored
A man with too many names may not remember how to write all of them

He posted an excel sheet in his thread and in file properties his name is listed as Clay Ferrell.

There are a great deal of comments in this new thread that is supposed to be about the system that (as you so repetitively keep pointing out, is by a scam artist) and all we see coming from your posts is negative statements about the person known as eclayf.

Now since you are all so well informed and know so much about the industry and everything else, why is it that not a single one of the anti scam fighters has made a comment regarding the strength or weakness about the system itself?

Maybe because no one cares about the system. The system is detailed thoroughly throughout the manual included in the thread that anyone can still access.

If you think the system had anything to do with the banning then you are obviously missing the point. The point is that oftentimes scammers will spend months with a "system" slowly building credibility and gaining a following. I'm not going to explain it all again but in short the system is the hook. If people can make money with the system by dancing then by all means I'm happy for them.

Trading MA bounces is a quite usual trading technique. There is nothing so complicated that should be described on more than 1-2 pages (including illustrative charts).
Why many people are not discussing the technique actively? Because they trade other systems that provide better results for them

Indrek,

For your level of experience it's probably "quite usual". For me and others it was a revelation. You are welcome to share any thoughts/ideas/suggestions to the CHOROS thread.

It would be very time consuming as I myself trade sth very different and look for new ideas in other threads. Very often the very best systems do not find too big interest because many new traders think that trading should be extremely complicated. More than three indicators (including MAs that are also indicators) on one chart is usually too much for a good system.

Can I get a quick explanation about the banning? I'm in the CHOROS thread but I haven't read the whole Dance thread. The system was legit but the Clay dude had a website that you had to pay for or what?

Thanks.
System's concepts seem solid, just wanted to make sure it wasn't a total scam. I can deal with some disagreement.

Prove it to yourself. Install the sim and test it. One of the few strats that actually helps you see and understand what the market is doing and where it is headed. I see the market in a whole new light these days and draw far fewer trendlines than I used to.

Hi Indrek

Would appreciate it if you can list from your experience other systems worth looking at too. I am still a total newbie and would like to test the waters with some recommended ones. There are too many on here (FF) to guess which ones are worthwhile.

Thanks a mil

Hey Guys,

I've been trend trading forex for a little more than 2 years now, partly earning my living by trading. I'm not getting into a dispute about who exactly "Clay" is or was... but I'd just like to add that "the dance" is a useful system for me.

In my opinion it's just a refinement of other common strategies. But it is a valid system.

I took a short EUR/JPY @ 115.98 at 8:45am EST
Typical "touch" trade, but I took 24 pips and got out, though it would have been good for 200 pips... crap.

Not sure if I can post screen shots?

CharlesSA, I'm new to forex factory, but not forex. Read the dance manual, it's actually not a bad place to start.
I'm not sure about other systems found on FF, but do some research on 4H trend trading, another good place to start.

Almost any thread in FF is good for picking up ideas. I always suggest people not to look for entire systems but good elements that allow to build up their own strategies.
Trading forex is business not a social activity, so no one who had a really working and profitable system would reveal it to competitors. But what good traders do - they throw out ideas for developing these into good systems with the help of other traders. Make use of this and you will win!

i wonder how "the dance" could be a scam when its originators clay and endroute never ever asked for a single cent from us. day in day out we ask tonnes of questions and they replied selflessly and quickly. it might seem rather confusing at the start, but if u look at the system for long enough, u will get the "feel" of it. i personally tweaked the dance for my own use. threw out D1 n looked mainly at the 15mins and occasionally at the 1hr to check for any disagreements. its jus some simple MTF confirmation. how can that be complicated?
u guys should ban him only if hes trying to sell a "holy grail" to us for 19.99 or something.

and its funny how some jokers and trolls invade the thread n proclaim the system to be trash cos its ALL by "FEEL" and not ROCK SOLID trading rules! the even funnier part is that 2 of these jokers n trolls still arent banned n are still posting their crap here in the forums.

well i guess 95% of traders here(aka losers) need rock solid trading rules cos they need to be led by the nose. old timers like me who started 15yrs ago with the banks, we didnt have electronic charts. we drew our charts by HAND. that is when u get the FEEL of the ebb n flow of the markets. n thats when the big money comes.

Seriously ill people drove miles to meet the snake oil salesmen wagon in the western days because they heard from someone that farmer Jakes bad back was much better after ingesting three bottles of the magic elixir.

Some things never change.
